Ghanaian Afrobeats star Kelvyn Boy is set to open a new chapter in his musical journey with his forthcoming album “2ND STEP.”

Kelvyn Boy first announced the project during an appearance on 3Music TV’s The Big Conversation, where he described the album with the intriguing phrase “a wounded lion with a bit of love.” His description points toward a body of work shaped by personal growth, resilience, vulnerability and love.

The album represents the next major chapter following Kelvyn Boy’s previous projects, including Blackstar and For The Kulture. Over the years, the singer has built a reputation around smooth melodies, Afrobeat rhythms and emotionally driven songwriting, with songs such as “Down Flat,” “Mata,” “Na You” and “Weather For 2” helping to establish his sound across Ghana and beyond.
