Shatta Wale Criticizes Stonebwoy Amid Grammy Hiplife Controversy

The Recording Academy’s commemoration of Hiplife’s 30th anniversary has reignited tensions between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy. Though both artists are widely recognized for their dancehall skills, Shatta Wale has a background as a Hiplife performer.

He criticized Stonebwoy for undermining the Grammy’s tribute to the Hiplife genre. Shatta Wale voiced his displeasure with Stonebwoy after the latter’s negative remarks about the Grammy’s homage to Hiplife.
