Upper West-based Ghanaian Afrobeats rising star Sypha Superman is making waves, not just with his music, but with his bold fashion statements too. Speaking in an exclusive interview on TI Showbiz at Tungsung Radio 97.3, the “Dumba” hitmaker opened up about the sacrifices and strategy behind his image and career growth.
“It wasn’t a joke when I said my outfit wore to ‘Open Mic’ was worth GHC 3,250. It’s not a one-day thing — my management made a conscious effort to make that possible. You can’t be an artist and dress like a plumber at work.”
Sypha emphasized that appearance plays a key role in showbiz and revealed how his investment in style has paid off:
“My dressing has earned me more gigs in Accra. It may look expensive, but it’s working for me as a musician.”
