2025 Was Full of Unforgettable Stage Moments – From Hilarious Trips to Heart-Stopping Slips!

The year 2025 gave Ghanaian music fans plenty to talk about, not just for amazing performances, but for some of the most unexpected live show slip-ups of the year. While our favourite artistes delivered epic sets across the country, a few unforgettable stage fails also had everyone laughing or gasping online.

Amerado Ghanaian rapper Amerado fell on stage when the rented stage collapsed during a performance at Baidoo Bonsoe Senior High Technical School’s SRC week, but he sustained no major injuries, with his management confirming he was fine despite initial social media fears he’d been hospitalized. Videos showed the energetic performance leading to the collapse, with the rapper falling but quickly recovering and continuing his event schedule, though the incident prompted discussion about stage safety. 

Olivetheboy also had his own awkward moment as he lost his footing mid-show, leading to some viral clips on social media. Yes, Olivetheboy had a memorable stage fall at Tidal Rave in 2025, where the stage partially collapsed, causing him to fall, but he recovered and finished his set, a moment highlighted in reviews of Ghanaian performances that year.

Wendy Shay nearly stole the spotlight, but not for her vocals, after a tumble on the stage during the Ghana Most Beautiful 2025 finale, which had viewers talking. Yes, Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay fell on stage during her performance at the 2025 Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) grand finale in October 2025, appearing to lose balance due to her outfit or stage setup, requiring assistance to get off stage. Videos circulated showing the incident, which some attributed to wardrobe issues, though she continued her performance after the fall. 

Meanwhile, Ghanaian musician Sefa nearly fell on stage while performing at billionaire Richard Nii-Armah Quaye’s 40th birthday celebration. and Black Sherif fell on stage during a June 2025 performance at the University of Ghana when an overzealous fan rushed on stage, causing him to lose balance and sustain a minor lip injury, but he quickly resumed performing. Another incident in August 2024 saw him stop a UMaT performance due to a sad incident involving a woman falling and potential electrical issues on the unsafe stage.
