In just three days, “Fukotieasie Comedy” has taken the internet by storm with the release of their highly anticipated skit, “Poverty Dispenser.”
The Upper West-based Ghanaian comedy group set a new benchmark in their region, as the video quickly went viral across the country. Since its release, “Poverty Dispenser” has made remarkable waves on social media.
Before the skit’s debut, their Facebook page had around 13,000 followers; in just three days, that number skyrocketed to over 35,000, with the video amassing more than 1.1 million views.

This rapid rise makes them the first in the region to achieve such numbers in such a short time. Their TikTok following also grew significantly, jumping from 52,000 to over 65,000.
The success of “Poverty Dispenser” showcases the power of quality content. The skit even caught the attention of former president John Dramani Mahama, who shared it on his LinkedIn profile.
