My Album Target Global Market, Not Named Global – Fancy Gadam
I Never Said My Album Name Is Global But Rather A Global Album, Fancy Gadam
Fancy Gadam’s Album “Competition” Aims for Global Audience, Clears Misinterpretation
Fancy Gadam, accompanied by his road manager Hassan Al Hassan, recently made an appearance on Majority Radio in Tamale. During an interview section, Fancy Gadam clarified a misconception about his album’s title and its global aspirations.
The album, named “Competition,” is not named “Global,” as previously misunderstood. The artist explained that while he aims to capture the global market, the album itself is titled “Competition.”

Hassan Al Hassan, Fancy Gadam’s road manager, further elucidated the rationale behind the album’s title choice. He emphasized that “Competition” doesn’t signify a comparative stance against others; rather, it reflects the dynamic within their own discography.
With seven albums under their belt, the name symbolizes the healthy competition among their own songs. Hassan Al Hassan also underscored that the album consists of 10 distinct tracks, including one that shares the same “Competition” with the album title.
Fancy Gadam addressed the confusion stemming from a previous interview where he mentioned dropping a “global album.” He clarified that while the album does target the global market, it isn’t specifically named “Global.”
The artist’s intention is to reach a wider international audience, and “Competition” is the vessel through which he aims to achieve this goal.
