Ghanaian singer Sista Afia (born Francisca Duncan-Williams) opens her 2026 run with “Kor (Thank You),” a gratitude-soaked Afro-pop single released through Ace Kandi Records and Yve Digital. It’s her first solo drop of the year, following last year’s “Chill,” and it swaps out any need for a flex record in favour of something warmer.

Produced by ItJoebeatz, “Kor” leans on rich, unhurried melodies rather than the usual club-ready drums, the kind of record built for reflection more than the dancefloor. Sista Afia uses the space to count her blessings out loud, and her vocal performance carries the weight of the theme: smooth, emotional, and restrained where a lesser take would have overreached.

It’s a short, focused listen at just over three minutes, and it fits neatly into the run of understated, feel-good singles that have defined her catalogue, a reminder that she’s as comfortable carrying a song solo as she is showing up on someone else’s feature.
