The Upper West Rising Star You Need to Know About (Annumah)
The Upper West Region has no shortage of talented creatives, but every now and then, an artiste comes along with something that makes you stop, listen and pay attention. Annumah is one of those artistes.
Young, beautiful, confident and blessed with an incredible voice, Annumah is gradually making her presence felt beyond the Upper West music scene. And if the early response to her newly released project is anything to go by, this is an artiste whose journey deserves to be followed closely.
Her latest project, Lost To Love, is already making impressive numbers just days after its release. The six-track EP, released on August 29, 2026, has crossed 65,000 streams on Audiomack alone, with the platform currently recording more than 65.6K total plays for the project. That kind of early response is certainly worth paying attention to.
A Voice That Speaks
She has the kind of vocal presence that can carry emotion without doing too much. Whether she is singing about love, heartbreak, affection or the realities of relationships, there is a certain honesty in the way she delivers her music. And that is exactly what makes Lost To Love interesting.
The project takes listeners through different sides of love and relationships, with songs including “Lost It All,” “Odo,” “Found Him,” “Tonight,” “Wedding Day” and “Selele,” featuring Reezybwoy and Di Yungsta.
Rather than simply putting songs together for the sake of releasing an EP, Annumah appears intentional about telling a story and allowing listeners to connect with different emotions throughout the project.
More Than Just Beauty
Annumah is undeniably beautiful, but reducing her to her looks would be doing her talent a serious disservice. Behind the beauty is an intelligent young woman who understands that music is not just about having a good voice. It takes discipline, consistency, confidence and the willingness to keep learning.
Coming from a humble background, Annumah has taken her music seriously and is steadily building herself into an artiste who can represent the Upper West Region on bigger stages.
Her journey is particularly inspiring because she is not trying to rush the process. She is putting in the work, developing her sound and allowing the music to speak for her.
Her previous releases, including “Blind Love,” had already begun introducing listeners to her sound before Lost To Love arrived. “Blind Love” has itself accumulated more than 37,000 Audiomack plays, showing that there was already growing interest in her music before the EP.
Upper West Has Another Born Talent
For years, music lovers have called for more attention to artistes from the Upper West Region. Annumah could be one of the young talents capable of pushing that conversation further.
She has the voice.
She has the looks.
She has the confidence.
She has the intelligence.
And most importantly, she appears to have the hunger to make something meaningful out of her music career. The early numbers for Lost To Love are encouraging, but perhaps the bigger story is what comes next.
