Patapaa Sparks Debate: Says ‘One Corner’ Outshines All Of Black Sherif’s Songs

Ghanaian artist Patapaa has reignited controversy with a bold claim that his 2017 viral hit track “One Corner” is bigger than all the songs released by Black Sherif. According to Patapaa, “One Corner” didn’t just top charts locally, it became a global sensation, sparking dance challenges and viral trends across multiple countries.

In a recent interview, he emphasized that while Black Sherif is praised for his deep lyrics and strong storytelling, none of his songs have matched the worldwide buzz “One Corner” generated. “Black Sherif is doing well, but the kind of international craze ‘One Corner’ created hasn’t been replicated,” Patapaa stated confidently.

His comments have sparked lively conversations online and within the music scene, with fans debating whose impact holds more weight: Patapaa’s viral fame or Black Sherif’s critical acclaim and global streaming numbers.

The discussion underscores the contrasting definitions of musical success, whether it’s viral influence or lyrical depth, and highlights the ever-evolving nature of the Ghanaian music landscape.
